Laura Kessel, M.S., CCC-SLP, ATP, is a speech-language pathologist and an augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) specialist. She received her RESNA Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification in 2015.
She is currently the AAC Specialist for the Public Schools of Brookline, MA, serving students ages 3-22, as well as an AAC/ AT Consultant for AT for Education.
During prior roles at Easter Seals of MA and ATECH Services in NH, Laura worked with clients of all ages across a variety of settings, seeing clients at their homes, schools, and day rehabilitation or vocational environments. Recently, she served as the Assistive Technology Liaison for the Let’s Participate! Project at the Early Learning Center in Malden, Massachusetts, a grant-funded model demonstration project run by FHI360.
Specializing in: AAC evaluations, partner training, insurance funding for AAC, apps for communication, low and high tech communication solutions, dedicated devices, and assistive technology for children ages 0-5.
